The Greater Richmond ARC held the 10th Annual Ladybug Fund Wine Dinner on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the new state of the art headquarters of the Greater Richmond ARC.  150 guests were in attendance.

Thom Horsey, co-founder of the Ladybug Fund and ARC Board Member, opened the evening up with a few words about the new building before introducing Beth McClelland of BB&T and thanking BB&T and Beth for all their support.  Mrs. McClelland spoke about the dedication of ARC and their Board to making the building turn from an idea to a reality.  Horsey then presented the Ladybug Fund Award to Terry Izzo for her work at ARC. Horsey told an emotional story of sitting on a playground at the ARC offices watching his daughter in a sandbox with Izzo.  It was at that moment that Izzo had the vision that they needed to raise money for ALL families with disabled children who might need the services that ARC provides.

All proceeds for the evening event go to the Ladybug Fund which ensures that ANY family who needs ARC's infant and child development services are able to receive them.
