The Greater Richmond ARC hosted its 10th annual Ladybug Winetasting and Silent Auction at Plant Zero on Saturday, May 1, 2010.

About 400 guests enjoyed a variety of food from local restaurants that were all busy preparing their delicacies in person. A large variety of wines were set up at tables with clever names as Zinfandel Court, Chardonnay Lane, Pinot Grigio Place, Rue de Riesling, Desert Wine Drive, Cabernet Cove and Cabernet Lane for those to enjoy.

Thom Horsey welcomed the crowd to the annual event, which was started by Thom 10 years ago, in memory of his daughter Liddy Horsey nicknamed Ladybug. Items up for auction were displayed throughout the venue and master of ceremonies this year was Bill Bevins.

"The Ladybug Fund, founded in 2001 provides scholarships for young children with developmental delays at a time in their lives when services can have the greatest impact on lifelong development.  The Ladybug Fund supports therapy, special equipment, and opportunities to participate in community activities with other children" - The Greater Richmond ARC.
