Bright blue sky with the temperature in the high 70's created the perfect day for a golf tournament to raise money for the Richmond Hope Foundation. The event held on Thursday, May 21 at the Hunting Hawk Golf Club was the 1st Annual Golf Tournament for the Richmond Hope Foundation. The Tournament finished up around 5:30p.m. and players then enjoyed hamburgers and more outside the club house looking over the greens. The 6 teams of 4 helped raise $2500 for the Foundation. The mission of Richmond Hope Foundation is to provide H.O.P.E. by sponsoring children for life-changing therapy services that enrich their lives and the lives of their families. Their mission includes a scholarship fund to help alleviate some of the financial burden that families incur as result of therapy services for their family member. Over 3,000 children in the Richmond Metro Area have needs for therapy services and the median income of these families is $33,000 yearly, so the financial burden is tremendous. This local charity helps these children and their families. Your donation changes lives!
